About Child Protection Specialist Centre (CPSC):

We are dedicated to providing quality home-based services and support to families and children experiencing abuse or severe neglect at home. Referrals are received from the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) Child Protection Services to assist families and children identified as needing non-statutory services and support. Guided by a child-centred, family-focused, and community-based approach, our aim is to empower families to reach their fullest potential and provide ongoing support through life’s changes and challenges.

Responsibilities:

1. Assume a secondary role in case management by providing support to caseworkers and co-working with them regarding clients and their family members to eliminate the risk of child maltreatment.
2. Perform liaison work and gather information with public/community agencies who consult on child protection issues or report allegations.
3. Provide public education and outreach to increase awareness of child maltreatment.
4. Provide logistics and administrative support for programmes (e.g., group work).
5. Source and coordinate resources, brokering services to meet the needs of clients.

Requirements:

1. Diploma in Social Work or a relevant discipline.
2. Able to work nights (at least 1-2 nights a week).
3. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Minimum 2 to 3 years of work experience.
5. Good team player.
