Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the incumbent will lead the planning, execution and optimisation of the hotel’s online/social media marketing efforts. He/she will take the lead in the promotion of each internal brand/outlets, products, campaigns, events and services of the company through Omni social media channels and assets.
The ideal candidate should be well-versed in the concepts surrounding social media and digital marketing and how the Internet can become a strong asset to securing growing revenue. He/She will be social media, tech-savvy and intuitive with great ideas to reinforce our marketing campaign. The candidate must be abreast with social media trends as well as successful case studies and learning journeys of competitors and similar businesses.
OVERALL OBJECTIVES
Assisting in the formulation of strategies to build a lasting social/digital connection with stakeholders
Planning, monitoring and sustaining the company’s presence on social media through a curated calendar of engaging and compelling social media posts and social media activation
Leads the identification, formulation and launching of optimized online/social advertisements to increase the company’s brand awareness across digital and social assets.
Plan and monitor the ongoing company presence on social media (Instagram, Facebook, You Tube, LinkedIn, Twitter) as well as explore new ones Tik Tok, Weibo, WeChat etc.
Prepare online newsletters, EDMs and promotional emails and organize their distribution through various channels
Lead internal photography and videography projects and arrangement for sales & marketing
Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Proven working experience of 1-2 years in social media marketing and/or social media management.
Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO
Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels
Positive attitude, detail and customer-oriented. Able to multi-task and work independently in a dynamic environment with good problem solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent verbal and written English language skills
Diploma in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations
