Singapore Aquatics (SAQ) is the governing body for the aquatic sports of swimming, water polo, diving, and artistic swimming in Singapore, as a member of World Aquatics (AQUA). SAQ is responsible for the development and education of aquatic athletes, officials, coaches, and volunteers throughout Singapore, as well as the organization of competitions and programs for all levels of participation.

SOCIAL MEDIA & CONTENT EXECUTIVE / MANAGER
A. PRIMARY JOB PURPOSE
Reports to the Assistant Director (Marketing & Partnerships) and Executive Director of SAQ.
The Social Media & Content Executive will be responsible for managing and creating engaging digital content for Singapore Aquatics' social media platforms, tracking competition results and national records, and enhancing our online presence.
B. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Social Media Management & Content Creation
Manage and execute social media strategy for Singapore Aquatics across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Develop and schedule engaging social media posts, including event highlights, athlete features, and milestone achievements.
Capture and edit photo and video content for social media and digital platforms.
Monitor social media analytics, track performance, and optimize content based on engagement metrics. - Competition Results & National Records
Update and upload national competition results, national records, and event highlights across social media and the website.
Work closely with the competitions team to ensure accurate and timely updates of meet results.
Assist in developing infographics and reports showcasing Singapore Aquatics' milestones. - Media & Community Engagement
Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms.
Collaborate with athletes and stakeholders to feature exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes content. - General Communications Support
Assist in maintaining Singapore Aquatics’ website, ensuring updated and relevant content.
Work with the Marketing Executive to ensure brand consistency across all digital content.
Support other communications initiatives, including EDMs and newsletters.
Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
C. REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
- Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in Media, Communications, or Digital Marketing.
- Experience in social media management and familiarity with content trends.
- Proficiency in social media tools (Meta Business Suite, Canva, CapCut, or equivalent).
- Strong writing and storytelling skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to edit videos and images for digital content.
- Knowledge of basic analytics tracking and reporting (Meta Insights, Google Analytics, etc.).
- Comfortable working on weekends/public holidays when required for event coverage.
