Job description

Social Media and Content Manager

We are looking for an excellent and established Social Media and Content Manager, who is meticulous, quick-footed and obsessed by accuracy. You must be used to working across multiple social media and marketing platforms as you will be responsible for the overall management of COMO Hotels & Resorts Social Media Corporate Accounts and Strategies, as well as supporting Content Marketing operations for global campaigns, website and marketing collaterals for COMO Hotels & Resorts.

Responsibilities:

Social Media:

  • Responsible for overall management of COMO Hotels and Resorts Instagram, LinkedIn, Youtube, Wechat and other Social and Content existing channels.
  • Explore and grow COMO Hotels and Resorts Social Media footprint by developing new channels, in line with the broader Corporate Marketing Strategy.
  • End-to-end management of COMO Hotels and Resorts Social accounts including content planning, storytelling and copywriting, image sourcing, video editing, community management, reporting
  • Lead relevant agencies and external consultants in developing of creative content, design, copywriting to provide any deliverables required
  • Act as the Social Media corporate champion, providing education and guidelines to corporate and hotel leadership teams, as well as regular best practices to hotel marketing teams to drive the overall group’s engagement on Social channels.

Content Management:

  • Support overall content marketing operations, including content planning, curation, translations management, and deployment across website, emails, online magazine, print advertising, sales letters, brochures, flyers.
  • Assist in the updates of content including copy, images, videos and editorial content on comohotels.com content management system.
  • Assist in photo and video shoot production, post-production process and update of website and marketing collaterals
  • Conduct SEO keyword research and copywriting to ensure increased engagement in content and online traffic.
  • Adhere to marketing strategies and objectives, meeting deadlines as set by the Corporate Marketing Team and other stakeholders.
  • Make revisions, identify problems or inconsistencies, solve problems by reviewing with the Corporate Marketing Team.
  • Understanding briefs, adhering to the objectives of the project, remaining on brand and grammatically correct.

Collaboration:

  • Work collaboratively with the HQ Marketing Team to execute integral marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate, coordinate and fact check with key internal and external stakeholders to produce creative and non-creative content.
  • Contribute and participate with creative and brand teams to develop multiple concepts and campaigns.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Hospitality Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Social Media and/or Content Marketing.
  • Portfolio of published content (optional, please provide).
  • Experience in luxury, lifestyle, international travel or hotel industry.
  • Fluency in English (oral and written) with excellent writing skills, and proficiency in mandarin Chinese preferred.
  • The ability to think strategically and translate ideas into creative content.
  • An eye for detail and a desire for perfection.
  • The ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • A flexible approach and willingness to adapt.
  • Familiar with website content management systems and website analytics tools.
  • Excellent project management skills and familiar with project management tools.
  • Strong team player, positive upbeat energy and self-starter.
