Snr Associate, Machine Learning Engineer, GFMT, Group Technology

The Team\:
The DBS Global Financial Markets Technology - AI/ML Team works with stakeholders across all pillars of the Global Financial Markets to create data driven solutions for sales, marketing and trading platforms.

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you'll be part of our rapidly growing team. You'll have the chance to apply data science methods and analytics to real-world business situations across a variety of financial products and instruments to drive significant business impact.

Responsibilities\:

1. Leverage financial data to create data science solutions for hyper-personalization, dynamic pricing and trade analytics.
2. Collaborate with quants and traders to solve optimization problems using machine learning and quantitative methods.
3. Research and evaluate ML models and algorithms to ensure best practices.
4. Implement and optimize AI/ML models using advanced computing techniques.
5. Build and deploy machine learning systems, microservices, and reusable libraries.

Minimum Requirements\:

1. Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Quantitative Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
2. Experience in the data science lifecycle, working with structured and unstructured data.
3. Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and their trade-offs.
4. Proficient in Python, SQL, and software development best practices.

Nice to Have\:

1. Knowledge of econometrics, statistical modelling, time-series analysis, and causal inference.
2. Experience with A/B testing, bandit experiments, and multivariate analysis.
3. Knowledge of LLMs, generative AI frameworks, and prompt engineering.
4. Experience in financial markets, understanding key market dynamics and drivers.
5. Experience with reinforcement learning models and building scalable machine learning systems.
