General Summary

Jardine Cycle & Carriage Limited is currently recruiting an ESG and Sustainable Development Senior Analyst / Assistant Manager for a full-time position in Singapore. Working within the sustainability team, you will collaborate with others across departments to help drive the ESG agenda of the Group. Key responsibilities include collecting and analysing data for reporting, benchmarking across competitors and industries as well as researching key sustainability trends and topics. While the individual will need to be independent and resourceful, they must also know how to work in a team setting to achieve a common goal. Some areas where the individual may expect to see development include research skills, presentation skills, data analysis, time management, stakeholder management and corporate sustainability knowledge.

The Opportunity

  • Actively supporting the sustainability team in driving the ESG agenda for the entire JC&C Group
  • Collect and analyse large amounts of data for reporting
  • Conduct industry and competitor analysis
  • Research sustainability trends or topics and identify areas for improvement
  • Support with both internal and external stakeholder management
  • Prepare presentations for senior management discussions
  • Support the sustainability team with ad-hoc tasks

Required Qualifications
  • 3 to 5 years of professional or educational experience in sustainability, business, economics, strategy or finance
  • Strong understanding of corporate sustainability concepts and how ESG factors affect company performance and/or investment outcomes
  • Excellent research, data management and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated, willing to learn and able to manage time efficiently
  • Track record in delivering results and working towards a common goal within a diverse team environment
  • Sound verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (incl. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Nice to Have
  • Secondary language, preferably Vietnamese or Indonesian Bahasa
  • Professional experience within an investment or conglomerate context
