Site Safety Officer - Tunnel & LTA Projects

Job Scope

• Conducting regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential safety risks
• Developing and delivering safety training programmes for all site personnel
• Investigating and reporting on any incidents or accidents, and implementing corrective actions
• Maintaining detailed records of all safety-related activities and documentation
• Liaising with authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation
• Collaborating with project managers to integrate safety considerations into project planning and execution
• Promoting a strong safety culture and encouraging safe work practices among the workforce

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Safety Officer, preferably in the construction industry
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to effectively manage safety-related issues
• Ability to communicate effectively with both site workers and senior management
• Proficient in the use of relevant safety-related software and reporting tools
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in occupational health and safety
