Site and Project Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and oversee the direction of the project (or a package), ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met
• Review progress and liaise with quantity surveyors to monitor costs
• Liaise with the client and other construction professionals
• Coordinate and supervise construction workers
• Select tools and materials
• Make safety inspections and ensure construction and site safety
• Check and prepare site reports, designs, and drawings
• Maintain quality control procedures
• Find ways to prevent problems and solve any that arise
• Assess and minimize risk
• Write reports and keep on top of paperwork
• Help negotiate contracts and secure permits and licenses
• Work closely with Account Servicing/Project teams to coordinate pre-site work and at the job site
• Report to the Renovation Department Manager on site activities, including schedule, design, and delivery
• Ensure projects are carried out within budget, schedule, and quality expectations
• Coordinate with clients and internal departments for quotations and negotiations
• Lead the renovation team in residential renovation work
• Assist in building sales channels and contacts
• Liaise with landlords, management, and clients
• Maintain working procedures and safety
• Handle project submission and interior work processes
• Support customer visits and sales presentations
• Coordinate with subcontractors and workers for the renovation work to finalize handover to the client
• Maintain and establish close relations with clients and provide feedback to them
• Strong computer skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, AutoCAD, Photoshop, etc.
• Prepare and monitor project timelines based on project contract scope
• Report construction progress and highlight potential delays in the project schedule
• Provide technical advice to design team to ensure construction feasibility of project scope

Requirements:

• Diploma, certifications, or Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• Proven experience in project management, preferably in renovation projects
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
• Solid understanding of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong negotiation and coordination skills for site supervision
• Relevant project management/building/construction supervision certifications
