Site Manager

We are working with an esteemed real estate developer to look for a Site Manager (Construction), with people management responsibilities (engineers and supervisors).

Site Manager (Construction)

Responsibilities

Construction and QA/EHS Responsibilities:

• Ensure work is executed within budget, schedule, quality and specification.
• Site manage includes checking on working drawings, supervising work according to approved drawings and specifications, identifying discrepancies for resolution, and ensuring mock-ups are carried out prior to works on site.
• Ensure compliance to QA/EHS requirements.
• Attend drawing review by the Director, Audit and Improvement. Comply with the Project Quality Plan.

Meetings

• Conduct site progress meetings with subcontractors to solve site issues and to monitor work progress.
• Attend pre-construction meetings and site quality inspections.

Business Development and Finance Support

• Assist the Business Development team to prepare construction schedules and sequences.
• Ensure project is within budget, Cost Report, and submission of payment on time.

Project Support

• Review tender documents.
• Ensure that the Procurement List is in order and on schedule.
• Attend respective design meetings on a monthly basis.
• Flow through of Client contract obligations to the subcontractor in sub-contract documents.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or other Building related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar capacity.
• Good knowledge of the approving process of the respective government agencies.
• Good knowledge of the Building Control Acts and its subsidiary legislation (including the applicable statutory codes and regulations).
• Good all-rounded knowledge in C&S, M&E, and Architectural works.
• Good knowledge in project management applications and tools.
