Site Engineer [RTO | Tuas South | Civil & LTA projects]

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of civil engineering projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
• Supervise construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Liaise with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and authorities to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Review technical drawings and designs for accuracy and ensure they are implemented correctly on-site.
• Prepare progress reports and documentation for management and stakeholders.
• Identify potential issues or risks during project execution and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineer Board (PEB) or Building Construction Authority (BCA).
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant local experience in civil engineering projects, specifically in infrastructure, sewer & drainage, and roadworks.
• Certifications: Possession of Resident Engineer (RE) or Resident Technical Officer (RTO) certification is preferred.
• Project Exposure: Experience working on LTA or PUB projects is highly desirable.

Skills:

• Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
• Excellent leadership and team collaboration skills.
• Proficient in project management software, AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Project.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
