Site Engineer / PE Assignee - LTA Tunnel Projects

Job Scope

• Supervising and coordinating the work of on-site construction teams, ensuring adherence to project plans, budgets and timelines
• Reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications and other technical documents to guide the execution of construction activities
• Monitoring and inspecting construction work to verify compliance with relevant standards, codes and regulations
• Identifying and resolving technical issues or design challenges that arise during construction
• Collaborating with project stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns and implement corrective actions as needed
• Maintaining detailed records, preparing progress reports and supporting the overall project administration

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
• Resident Engineer certification or eligibility to obtain RE status
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure or tunnelling projects
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, safety protocols and quality control procedures
• Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, perform site inspections and provide on-site supervision
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and conflict resolution skills
• Effective communication and stakeholder management capabilities
• Proficiency in using engineering software and project management tools
