Site Engineer / Hougang

Client: MNC
Location: Central

Work Hours: 7.30am – 6pm / 5.5 Work Week OR 6 Days Work Week
Salary: $3.5K – $5K Negotiable, Based on Qualification, Experience & Capability

Remuneration: Year end bonus + Health + Dental Benefit etc.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering (recognized by PE board)
• 3 – 5 years experience in the engineering / civil works
• 2 years experience in underground / MRT tunneling project experience
• Experience in managing D/wall and Borepiling and Tunneling Projects

Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule work sequences for construction operation
• Study tender / construction drawings, specifications and contracts to understand project requirements
• Liaise with consultants, clients & main / sub-contractors and coordinate site activities
• Perform site inspections and ensure that the works are carried out according to project specifications and construction drawings
• Lead a team of supervisors for work coordination with main/sub-contractors and/or authorities and/or consultants on project progress and technical issues
• Plan and deploy resources such as manpower, machinery, equipment, and materials
• Prepare progress reports, Method Statements, and technical submissions
• Ensure the project complies with regulations and clients’ specifications
• Adhere to safety and health regulations and aim for zero accidents in the workplace, and perform ad-hoc duties as assigned
