S. A E & C (S) PTE LTD Site Engineer Salary range – S$4,000.00 to S$5,500.00 Job Description - Site Engineer
Responsibilities
To report directly to Project Manager and Higher Management.
To be responsible for the smooth completion of the assigned project, in terms of both administrative and operational aspects.
To attend Daily Site / Coordination Meeting, Daily Tool Box Meeting with the Client, Main-Contractor and/or Sub-Contractor(s) whenever necessary with regards to any site issues, and to provide updates to our own Site Construction Team.
To make sure site work progress follows the Schedule given by the Main-Contractor.
To ensure work site complies with all WSH rules and regulations, and to maintain work-site safety at all times.
Prepare Minutes of Meetings for all joint meetings held with Main-Contractors, Sub-Contractors, or Site Personnel.
To advise both Main-Contractor and Sub-Contractor personnel on technical knowledge pertaining to the works (E.g. Reference lines, datum lines, etc).
To study and understand Shop-Drawings and Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) and make sure the project team has the latest set.
To manage and review Sub-Contractor(s) and their monthly performance.
To prepare Method Statement, Risk Assessments, Safe Work Procedure, and other necessary documents.
To manage and account for all materials & equipment delivered to site.
To prepare and manage Site Tool Lists. Any materials or tools left on site premises must be accounted for at all times.
To manage workers' time cards. Must make sure workers, especially supply workers do not work unnecessary overtime hours. Any overtime works must be first approved by the Managing Director before commencement.
Any other ad hoc duties assigned by the Managing Director or General Manager.
Requirements:
Minimum Degree in Civil Engineering or similar course
Has at least 5 years working experience in Singapore
Has experience in Reinforced Concrete (RC) works
Has experience in Top-Down / Bottom-Up Construction sequence in RC works
Has experience in LTA Projects (Minimum 5 years working experience)
