Site Engineer

(A) Job Summary:

Assists the Construction Manager in overseeing day-to-day site works.

(B) Essential Job Functions:

The Site Engineer is responsible, but not limited to, the following:

1. Supervise & coordinate day-to-day site works, including sub-contract works, safety and quality control.
2. Monitor the daily progress of work-on-site, identifying potential delays or issues and implementing necessary adjustments to keep the project on track.
3. Coordination, supervision & monitoring of the progress of the project works on site, manpower mobilization, materials planning & ordering.
4. Oversee the preparation of monthly progress reports for in-house, owner, and consultant submissions, highlighting key achievements and milestones.
5. Produce weekly site progress reports and necessary submissions.
6. Attend meetings, and conduct site inspections on work progress to ensure quality control by authority requirements.
7. Maintain a safe and clean working environment and ensure compliance according to standard rules and regulations.
8. Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by Construction Manager/ General Manager/ Project Director.

(C) Minimum Qualifications/ Job Experience:

1. Minimum 6 years’ engineering experience with a Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the PE Board or qualification / Degree in the relevant field subject to the acceptance of the SO.
2. At least 3 years’ experience in main contractor on projects of similar scale, nature and complexity.
3. Prior experience in working in construction site, especially in Civil Projects.
