Site Engineer reports to Site Manager and is responsible for the below:
- Support the creation of detailed construction plan, contributing to the sequencing and methodology discussion.
- Drive site work ensuring productivity, safety and quality goals are achieved.
- Prepare construction equipment loading chart and assist in its updates as necessary.
- Understand Project Safety Requirements, together with HSE Coordinator/Officer and inputs from SM to prepare RA after taking due consideration for safety, constructability & productivity.
- Prepare, update and revise Detailed MTO (Material Take-Off) based on actual site measurements of latest IFC drawings.
- Evaluate and plan the scaffolding needs for new as well as modification based on evolving site needs.
- Prepare Level 5 micro-schedule to enable 02 Wk 4M look-ahead.
- Prepare and update Regular Site reports and Project Forecast.
- Attend daily toolbox meeting and support Pre-task talk by Supervisor to disseminate work plan for the day.
- Coordinate work sequence with other trade partners engineers especially those predecent, concurrent and subsequent trade partners to minimise clashes and ensure continuous workfront.
- Coordinate with Procurement for material delivery schedule based on 4M micro schedule.
- Drive the closure of punch lists and the completion of necessary documentation, ensuring that items are resolved in a timely manner.
- Support Supervisor to conduct pneumatic testing and trace leaks and conduct leak repairs, hydrotest followed by flushing and passivation.
- Oversee the completion of reinstatement works and ensure that any remaining punch list items are cleared, leading to project closure.
To be a good fit, you would possess these qualities and skills:
- Min. 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably site work in Semi-con, Pharma & Oil & Gas.
- Proficient knowledge in AutoCAD software & Microsoft Office.
- Able to work independently and as a team with good prioritization skills.
- Good time management.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
