Job description
  1. Manage and ensure project meets internal and client expectations with respect to quality, delivery timelines, and strategy required by Consultant/Owner, with compliance to Workplace Safety Health (WSH) and prevent any Liquidated Damage (LD) imposed by Consultant/Owner.
  2. Maintain proper execution documentation and minutes of meetings to avoid claims and counterclaims for delays or proof for extension of time, with periodic checks on project filing and database to ensure proper filing and relevant documents are posted for easy reference.
  3. Develop and maintain good working relationships with various parties at site to foster strong client ties in the execution progress, ensuring the scope of work is not affected.
  4. Ensure own installation team and sub-contractors perform and comply with predefined quality scope of work and EHS standards.
  5. Communicate with Main Contractor/Consultant/Owner regarding project schedule and site facilities while managing customer changes throughout the project, ensuring deviations are commercially addressed and configured documents are maintained at all times.
  6. Conduct bi-weekly project meetings with supervisors and provide feedback on respective site issues and the progress of the projects.
  7. Assist General Manager and work closely with other departments, namely purchasing, quality control (QC), and Environment, Health and Safety (EHS), in promoting effective outsourcing & subcontracting.
  8. Review and approve WSH documents including Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Safe Work Procedures, Fall Prevention Plans, Lifting Plans, and Safety Management Systems, ensuring work is carried out safely.
  9. Perform other tasks as delegated by the immediate superior.
  10. Comply with all relevant EHS legal and other requirements associated with job functions and responsibilities.
  11. Comply with all EHS requirements affecting operations, including those affecting customers, suppliers, and contractors serving the departments.
  12. Participate in EHS programs.
  13. Follow EHS procedures and work instructions.

Qualification & Experience

  • Minimum Diploma in Engineering or equivalent years of experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in site management, including 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Good team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Working experience in a diverse cultural environment.
  • Fundamental knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and relevant experience.
