SITE ENGINEER

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Technical Issues
   • Review project specifications and technical clarifications.
   • Coordinate with Main-Contractors/Sub-Contractors on shop drawings, samples, and method statements, keeping all parties updated on the latest changes.
   • Liaise with sub-contractors on shop drawings and coordinate site activities.
   • Check and revise drawings, reporting to the project engineer for approval.
   • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD is required.
2. Site Operations
   • Ensure timely and smooth progress of works.
   • Perform site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and construction drawings.
   • Ensure project activities comply with the Company’s ISO system.
   • Coordinate with MC for technical, progress, and quantity issues, and follow up to resolve them.
   • Complete inspection forms and follow up on site inspections, closing comments with the site team.
   • 2-3 years of work experience at a construction site is required.
3. Documentation
   • Carry out project planning, design, material requisition, cost control, project supervision, and documentation.
   • Prepare Joint Method of Statements (SWP) and relevant drawings for site works.
   • Assist the project manager in completing other paperwork.
   • Mardian speaking is essential due to communication with Chinese subcontractors or workers.
