Responsibilities:
· Report to Project Manager and assist Site Manager on site matters and operation.
· Liaise and coordinate with all parties involved in the projects such as consultants, sub-contractors, suppliers, local authorities to ensure successful implementation of the project.
· Make/plan bi-weekly construction forecast and manage/schedule daily operation of the project execution as per planning.
· Ensure that all the construction activities are carried out in safe manner and all safety rules/regulations are adhered.
· Ensure all construction works are supervised/ checked/ rectified (if any) to maintain work continuity and with high quality.
· Supervise and provide advice to junior Project Engineer(s)/ supervisors.
· Check working drawing, identify discrepancies for resolution.
· Keeping track on variation and claims of contract.
· Assist in the preparation of the subcontractors’ scope of work and develop subcon demarcation matrix between various parties (including maincon).
· Assist in developing method statements and review safe work procedure (SWP) and Risk Assessment (RA).
· Perform project cost review on a regular basis and on identified areas.
· Perform incoming inspection on project materials delivered on site by suppliers or vendors.
· Prepare progress report and take up Ad-hoc duties as assigned by superiors(s).
Requirements:
· Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering (Certificates must be recognized by PE Board).
· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in building projects.
· Possess skills, knowledge and ability to supervise and manage project effectively.
· Independent, results-oriented, self-driven, and a team player with excellent communication skills.
