Singaporean Only! Test Engineer (PCBA/AutoCAD/Able to Read 2D Drawings)

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and coordinate electronic engineering or technical teams in the design and fabrication of test equipment, control systems, or software testing setups.
2. Manage engineering tasks related to the development, procurement, installation, calibration, and maintenance of instruments and devices used for testing, telemetry, and data recording.
3. Define testing conditions and determine the sequence and phases for test operations.
4. Conduct and support validation activities for test systems, equipment, and process setups.
5. Collaborate with scientific, engineering, and technical staff to resolve testing issues such as system malfunctions, incomplete data, or interpretation and coding challenges.
6. Analyze and interpret test results and compile technical reports for use by engineering and management teams.
7. Develop or utilize computer software and hardware to perform tests on electronic products, systems, or software.
8. Provide training and guidance to test technicians, operators, and support staff on the proper use of test hardware/software and effective troubleshooting techniques.
9. Investigate and resolve yield issues through root cause analysis, corrective action implementation, and performance monitoring.
10. Coordinate maintenance and repair support for test equipment and systems as needed.
11. Support workplace health, safety, and environmental initiatives by complying with company Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and contributing to EHS goals through active participation in programs.
12. Uphold and engage in the company’s Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSER) policies, programs, and procedures.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience, typically with 2 to 5 years of industry experience.
2. Solid technical knowledge of PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) and/or system box build processes.
3. Ability to interpret 2D technical drawings and component schematics.
4. Proficient in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
5. Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and basic AutoCAD usage.
6. Basic understanding of CAD systems.
7. Strong technical and business communication skills, with excellent verbal and written proficiency.
8. Ability to work effectively in a customer-focused environment and collaborate across internal teams, clients, and suppliers.
9. A proactive team player with strong interpersonal skills.
