Signalling Hardware Design Engineer

Your Role – Impactful, Meaningful And Future-Oriented

• Represent as a member of the team to focus on delivering the signaling portion of the project.
• Perform a variety of different tasks as the project progresses through its lifecycle.
• As a member of the Signalling HW Design Team, you will be involved in the production of the Technical Specifications of the different components to be provided as part of the technical solution, as well as the production of several design documents such as bonding plans, cable core plans, and bookwirings in line with the contract requirements.
• Involved in coordination with internal stakeholders and external ones for the different interfaces with trackwork and civil contractors.
• Participate in technical discussions with the customer to present the technical solutions.
• Plan and perform testing activities and assist in the implementation of all required technical solutions.

Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid

• At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, with 5 years railway signaling design experience in Mass Transit CBTC projects.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• A strong desire to learn, be meticulous, flexible, and able to work independently and in a team.
• Good knowledge of CBTC principles and solutions, especially on the trackside design.
• Experience in all stages of the delivery of Mass Transit CBTC Project including design, testing, commissioning, and post-commissioning support.
• Demonstrable experience in customer and operator interface.
• Experience in interfacing with other stakeholders.
• Able to interact and communicate effectively with people at all levels and cultures, providing timely delivery of assigned work with professionalism and quality at all times.
• Internship experience in automation systems/railway signaling companies is an added advantage.
