Shipper/Receiver

Our client, located in the SE of Calgary, is looking for a customer focused, detail orientated Shipper/Receiver, to join their busy team.

Qualifications:

1. Two years’ experience working in shipping and receiving, or a similar role
2. Knowledge of the electrical industry is considered a strong asset
3. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
4. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are a must
5. Intermediate level knowledge of MS Excel and Outlook
6. A self-starter with strong communication and customer service skills
7. Must be available to start immediately

Responsibilities:

1. Review, complete and submit daily paperwork for deliveries, pickups, receiving and production
2. Keep track of incoming loads
3. Prepare case, rack and pack tags for incoming shipments
4. Track warehouse stock and order as needed; order production materials as requested
5. Pick up completed orders, match with delivery slips and pull in proper files
6. Find customer pick up orders and assist in loading when required
7. Receive and sort incoming stock, and inspect for any issues
8. Other responsibilities as required.
