SG Only! Service Engineer (Exp in Marine Electrical/Telecommunication System)

Responsibilities:

1. Perform production, service, repair, installation, FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), field construction, plant commissioning, sea trials, and inspections of customer-supplied products.
2. Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure compliance with ISO documentation requirements, including Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Work Method Statements (WMS), and Permit to Work (PTW) application procedures.
3. Requisition key equipment and materials as required for the project.
4. Coordinate with customers regarding installation requirements, such as hot work, welding, carpentry, and cabling installation.
5. Inform the Manager of any additional requirements or changes from the customer.
6. Ensure all jobs are executed in accordance with the technical/installation manual and meet the acceptance criteria.
7. Assist in preparing designs, drawings, and documentation to meet customer’s technical requirements.
8. Contribute to the development of a comprehensive field support process for all products.
9. Identify and document any quality issues related to the product or service.
10. Take responsibility for handling and using inspection, measuring, and testing equipment.
11. Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Managers and Engineers.

Requirements:

1. Minimum ITE qualification in Electronics, Communication, Electrical, or Mechatronics.
2. At least 2 years of engineering experience.
3. Ability to read and comprehend technical and work-related documents in English.
4. Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
5. Knowledge of computers, electronics, and telecommunication systems.
6. Experience in marine electronics or the offshore industry is an advantage.
