SG Only! Facilities Engineer (Exp in Facilities Management/Maintenance Process)

Responsibilities:

1. Facility Operations
   • Oversee and ensure the efficient functionality of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
   • Maintain a clean, safe, and operational facility at all times.
2. Maintenance & Repairs
   • Plan, schedule, and supervise regular maintenance and repairs.
   • Coordinate with service contractors to ensure prompt resolution of issues.
3. Staff Supervision
   • Lead and manage maintenance, cleaning, and security teams, including casual labor when necessary.
   • Provide training, conduct performance evaluations, and ensure team efficiency.
4. Vendor Management
   • Source, evaluate, and recommend vendors based on quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
   • Negotiate contracts, secure approvals, and oversee vendor performance to ensure compliance with service standards.
5. Safety & Compliance
   • Ensure compliance with safety regulations through regular inspections.
   • Implement corrective actions and establish emergency response plans.
6. Budget & Cost Control
   • Develop and manage the facility’s budget effectively.
   • Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving strategies.
7. Project Management
   • Plan and manage facility upgrades or renovations, ensuring completion within time and budget constraints.
8. Tenant & Service Income Management
   • Identify opportunities to generate additional service income from tenants through facility-related offerings.
   • Explore cost-effective solutions to enhance tenant satisfaction and improve revenue streams.

Requirements:

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of building systems and maintenance processes.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Experience in budget management and contract negotiation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A diploma in a related field.
