Our Finance department is a fundamental part of Doctor Anywhere and plays a major role in ensuring the company's financial stability. We are responsible for advising management on financial decisions that have a far reaching impact on the company's future.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our clinic finance team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in both finance and administrative functions, enabling you to develop a versatile skill set and contribute to the efficient operation of our organization. As a Finance Intern, you will work closely with our clinic Finance team to support various tasks and projects. The preferred internship duration is between 3 to 6 months.

This role is based in Singapore and reports directly to Accountant, Finance.

A summary of the key responsibilities are as follows:

1. Support the finance team in processing and reconciling patient billing, insurance claims, and payments.
2. Assist with preparing financial reports, data analysis, and performance tracking.
3. Assist in managing payment collections and resolving discrepancies in financial records.
4. Help with month-end and year-end closing activities, including data entry and reconciliation.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial operations and improve processes.
6. Ad Hoc Tasks: Undertake any additional ad hoc duties as assigned to support clinic finance operations.

About you

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel.
• Strong interest in healthcare finance and operations.
• Basic understanding of financial concepts and principles.
• High level of initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proactive and responsible, with the capacity to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated integrity and high ethical standards in all aspects of work.
