Services Engineer (Power System)

We are looking for a Service Engineer (Power System) to make an impact!

What will you do?

• Perform field service (customer site service) activities involving the installation supervision, commissioning, maintaining, modification, onsite training, system upgrade and repair of complex Schneider MV, LV and transformer projects.
• Responsible for a region or subgroup of field services.
• Perform installation supervision and commissioning of Schneider products including day to day service of the same.
• Perform maintenance for Schneider equipment.
• Train customers on equipment operation and maintenance of Schneider products.
• Represent Schneider dealing with customer concerns.
• Identify and report failure modes encountered when in the field. Also responsible for determining the cause of these failures.
• Solve site problems at customer sites and provide reports on these issues.
• Provide 24hrs telephone support for customers.
• Support internal for spare parts warranty, preparation, and assembly.
• Improve onsite report and process.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

• Diploma/ITE in Electrical / Electronic engineering.
• Computer literacy and fluent in spoken English.
• 2-3 years of experience with electrical contractors, Oil & Gas sector, Power Generation, Petrochemical technical experience is an added advantage.
• Willing to travel up to 80% within Singapore.
