Job description

In the position of Service & Sales Support Coordinator at Schaller Automation, you would carry out multiple functions and tasks in order to support the company’s daily sales and service processes related to Sales and Aftersales requirements for the Asia Pacific region. You would demonstrate a hands-on mentality and be enthusiastic about assisting with freight and shipping coordination, engineer dispatch coordination, shipyard paperwork submission, general coordination works, and tradeshow preparations.

Furthermore, you would assist the Sales and Aftersales Team and ensure that tasks are followed up and performed. Singapore is the Headquarters for Asia Pacific, providing support, services, and spare parts into the region and to our Service Partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates customer service, provides product information, and directs technical inquiries to Service Engineers
  • Organizes and prioritizes breakdown requests, allocates resources efficiently
  • Coordinates Service Engineer dispatch
  • Prepares and submits documentation to shipyards and ports for Service Engineer access
  • Assists with freight and shipping coordination
  • Orders and manages parts inventory, tracks purchases and withdrawals
  • Overlooks in-house equipment for calibration needs and routine servicing
  • Assists with Service Report filing and prepares various reports
  • General assistance and support to Sales and Aftersales Team
  • Maintains and improves SAP systems for efficient inventory management and service department operations
  • Processes quotations, purchase orders, shipments, etc. for Schaller Automation products and parts for the region in the SAP System
  • Supports during exhibition preparation and set-up
  • Performs other ad-hoc duties related to employee’s experiences upon company’s evaluation
  • Office-based function

Candidate’s Experience/Requirements:

  • O Levels / Diploma in any discipline
  • 1-2 years of related experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong Can-Do mentality and autonomous working attitude
  • Good organization and planning skills
  • Well organized and structured
  • Young character and mindset, dynamic and open to multi-tasking job duties
  • Fluency in multiple languages is a benefit but not a must
  • Proficiency in SAP ERP system is an advantage but not a must
  • Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat
  • All passes that permit work in Singapore are welcome
