Service Engineer (Marine)

Responsibilities:

1. Standby assistance and a round-the-clock customer service emergency call.
2. Assign distributors and end users maintenance duties, site recovery, and technical assistance following the sale.
3. Depending on the project's complexity, offer installation, commissioning, and on-site training to assist clients.
4. Create a methodical service report for the client.
5. Look into and resolve any consumer concerns about malfunctioning products.
6. Investigate the underlying reasons for failures and suggest fixes.
7. Examine and help determine the extent of damage and repairs for distributor warranty claims.
8. Continue to work closely with our most important clients to guarantee that they are followed up with until the problem is fixed.
9. Create service training materials and ensure all technical and instructional materials are current and well-structured.
10. Ensure that all distributors receive the best possible service by giving dealers and distributors specialized training in service and troubleshooting techniques.

Qualifications:

1. Electrical or mechanical engineering diploma or degree with at least five years of relevant experience.
2. This job necessitates a good amount of travel throughout Southeast Asia and Asia Pacific.
3. A cooperative team player who is task-oriented and has excellent problem-solving abilities.
4. Strong focus on customer service and a passion for electrical and control systems, as well as power generation equipment.
5. Applicants with comparable work experience will be taken into account.
6. Prior electrical and control knowledge with different control systems (KDI and John Deere oecus) and synchronization systems is beneficial.
