Service Engineer (Experience in Variable frequency drives (VFD) / West) DP30

Responsibilities

• To carry out field service attendances to troubleshoot & repair Deck Cranes, Grabs, Windlasses, Hatch Cover Hydraulics and Davits.

• Able to read and comprehend electric and hydraulic diagrams.

• Supervise and delegate a team of mechanics and carry out large repair projects as Lead Engineer on board, on voyage and in Ship Yards.

Requirements

• Min 4. years of experience as a field service engineer in inspection, troubleshooting and repairing Marine Cranes, Windlasses & other hydraulic systems.

• In-depth knowledge and understanding of PLC controlled electro-hydraulic cranes & hydraulic machinery.

• Experience with variable frequency drives (VFD) will be an added advantage.
