Perform troubleshooting, planning, repair works, maintenance, and complete overhauling of diesel generators on-site/workshop.
Perform load tests and start-up of generator sets.
Prepare service/technical reports and FAT reports.
Perform commissioning for diesel generators.
Maintain testing equipment’s calibration records.
Prepare parts requirements in accordance with repair and maintenance.
Ensure proper maintenance of onsite equipment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
Perform other ad hoc jobs as required by the reporting Manager.
Able to work independently and maintain good working relationships with clients.
Provide technical solutions while working with vendors and colleagues, and supervise and direct technicians onsite.
Able to handle situations while dealing with customers.
Job Requirements
Diploma / Higher NITEC in Mechanical / Electrical or equivalent.
At least 2 years of working experience on Diesel Generators with some electrical knowledge.
Familiar with engines and gen-set operating principles.
Possess knowledge in electronic governor control and engine controller settings.
Proficient with the use of business PC or laptop, well familiar with Microsoft Office applications (such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
