Service Engineer (CCS & EGCS), Exhaust Treatment

Wärtsilä Exhaust Treatment is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join the great journey of Wärtsilä Exhaust Treatment, mainly for CCS (Carbon Capture & Storage) and EGCS (Exhaust Gas Cleaning System).

This is a permanent opportunity, and the preferred location is Pandan Crescent, Singapore.

What will you be doing:
As Service Engineer (CCS & EGCS), Exhaust Treatment, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

• Executing commissioning, warranty claims and service work for Exhaust Treatment Business in line with organization processes and practice.
• Performing mechanic, PLC & Automation commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Providing feedback at the earlier project execution phases for sales, design, engineering, purchasing and installation.
• Supporting sales potential increase through customer interaction and accurate record-keeping in the field.
• Keeping an active and positive attitude and behaviour according to Wärtsilä’s Quality, Health, Environment and Safety guidelines.
• Continuously developing and improving competences, attitude and behaviour.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

• Diploma/BSc. in Mechanical, Marine, Electrical & Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Ability to understand, use and correct electrical and automation schematics and drawings, and related component level documentation.
• Willingness to travel globally with a focus on Asia for service jobs. The travelling period will vary from a couple of days to a month.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Can-do and positive attitude.
• It would be seen as a plus if you have:
  • 2 years career as marine equipment engineer.
  • Relevant "hands-on" experiences in the mechanical and electrical disciplines.
  • Career as EGCS/BWTS/Inert Gas/HVAC/Pump System engineer.
  • Good Korean Skill, Spoken.
