We are looking for a Service Engineer, 2-stroke Services. This is a permanent opportunity, and its location is Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Field Service activities according to the work plan
- Perform mechanical/electrical troubleshooting on 2-stroke engines and ancillary equipment
- Provide technical advisory for repair activities executed on customers' responsibility
- Commission service products
- Lead and manage the on-site team and related activities during work execution
- Interact with customers during work execution
- Coordinate with Field Services back office and Technical Services during work execution
- Provide internal and external progress status updates of the assigned work
- Ensure that the work is executed according to Wärtsilä Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental guidelines and customer site procedures
- Create Service Work Reports
- Consult, advise, and promote available Wärtsilä solutions and products to customers
Requirements:
- BSC Degree with 2-5 years of working experience in the related field
- Diploma in mechanical or marine engineering with more than 5 years of working experience in the related field
- Excellent technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Good command of English, both written and oral
- Ability to work independently
- Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 80% of the time
- Ability to create internal and external work reports
- Ability to communicate and interact well with customers and other stakeholders
- Literacy in Information Management Applications/Tools such as MS Office
