Provide technical support to resolve technical inquiries from ships/vessels on Nordic Systems.
Attend on-board service attendances and commissioning services, annual inspection and maintenance for vessels based on troubleshooting of the technical issues and feedback by chief engineer/vessel managers.
Review service reports, customer technical specifications and provide support to sales team for bidding of spares.
Troubleshoot issues involving electrical/electronic control systems, PLC products.
Read and understand manuals, schematics, and P&ID's.
Lead the preparation and coordination of ITRs based on approved electrical completion procedures.
Prepare and update status of punch list and ensure all cleared punch items to be acknowledged by the client reps.
Monitor and manipulate site execution in line with sequence of works.
Handle technical issues, drawings, reports, procedures and any other relevant documents.
Develop engineering capabilities and work with sales team on project proposal and bidding.
Selection of equipment and materials for instrumentation and controls.
Execution of projects.
Plan and carry out E&I maintenances.
Manage subcontractors and other adhoc activities, leading the team of technicians on site to execute the project.
Job Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
Prior experience in the Maritime/Oil & Gas industries and shipyards will be highly advantageous.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Possess excellent interpersonal skills.
Responsible, meticulous, and able to work under pressure.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc).
Experienced in PLC/SCADA systems.
Fluency in English (verbal and written) is essential.
