Disassembly and reassembly of compressor parts like compressor valves, high pressure packing, and similar applications of parts of the reciprocating compressors.
Demonstrating proficiency in operating manual machines, including conventional lathes, drilling machines, lapping machines, grit blasting machines, and similar equipment.
Performing routine checks and preventive maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently and safely.
Ensuring all service work is completed within the allocated time frame and meets with total customer satisfaction.
Prepare technical report of all service works in accordance with Burckhardt Compression’s reporting standards for each assignment, maintaining accurate documentation.
Capable of working independently and as a member of a team.
Taking initiative and performing duties in line with company standards, policies, and budget constraints.
Recognizes and complies with Health, Safety and Environmental rules and policies that are applicable to each job being tasked.
Education / Experience:
Good in spoken and written English.
Diploma/ITE in mechanical/engineering/machining.
Good communication skills in a cross-cultural environment.
Capable of managing stock inventory system or equivalent IT advanced user skill.
Trustworthy, proactive, self-disciplined, target-oriented, and loyal personality.
Minimum 2 - 3 years of Maintenance Repair and Operation (MRO) industry experience.
Understanding of maintenance/repair jobs.
Experience in operating conventional lathes.
Knowledge in pumps servicing/repair (optional).
Class 3 license (optional).
