Job description

Job Summary:

The Senior Visual Merchandising Executive is responsible for executing visual merchandising strategies to enhance the customer experience, support sales growth, and ensure brand consistency across retail stores. This role involves planning and implementing in-store displays, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing creative support for marketing initiatives. The Senior Visual Merchandising Executive will also play a key role in training store teams and maintaining visual merchandising standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Visual Merchandising Execution:
    • Implement visual merchandising strategies in alignment with brand guidelines and business objectives.
    • Create and maintain attractive and engaging store displays to enhance the shopping experience and drive sales.
    • Ensure consistency of visual merchandising standards across all stores.
  2. Store Layout and Product Presentation:
    • Assist in planning and executing store layouts, window displays, and promotional setups.
    • Regularly update in-store displays to reflect new product launches, seasonal trends, and marketing campaigns.
    • Conduct store visits to ensure merchandising guidelines are followed and provide feedback to store teams.
  3. Team Collaboration and Training:
    • Work closely with the Visual Merchandising team to develop and implement cohesive visual strategies.
    • Provide guidance and support to store teams on visual merchandising best practices.
    • Conduct training sessions to ensure store teams are equipped to maintain visual merchandising standards.
  4. Graphic Design and Marketing Support:
    • Support the marketing team by creating visually appealing graphic designs for promotional materials, social media, and in-store marketing displays.
    • Ensure all visual merchandising materials align with the brand’s identity and marketing campaigns.
  5. Cross-Functional Coordination:
    • Collaborate with the merchandising, marketing, and operations teams to align visual merchandising efforts with promotional business goals.
    • Communicate visual merchandising plans and guidelines effectively to ensure smooth execution.
  6. Market Trends and Innovation:
    • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new visual merchandising techniques.
    • Propose innovative display ideas and creative merchandising solutions to enhance brand presence.
  7. On-Site Support and Event Setup:
    • Assist in setting up visual merchandising for roadshows, store openings, and campaign launches.
    • Ensure timely execution of merchandising setups for events and promotional campaigns.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Visual Merchandising, Design, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of visual merchandising experience in a retail environment.
  • Strong design skills and proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel for store visits, roadshows, and campaign setups as needed.
