Senior Veterinary Nurse – Anaesthesia & Emergency (Veterinary Hospital)

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assist in anesthesia and post-operative recovery for emergency and surgical cases
• Support veterinarians with emergency procedures and care of hospitalized animals
• Handle and restrain animals safely during treatment and radiographic procedures
• Manage patient preparation and discharge, including wound care and client communication
• Oversee and care for critical or high-dependency animals during night shifts

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in veterinary nursing, preferably in a hospital environment
• Able to work rotating night shifts and weekends (7PM – 7AM, 4 days/week)
• Strong clinical, communication, and animal handling skills
