Senior/Vessel Manager (Offshore)

Overall Purpose of Job

To maintain an efficient and reliable vessel, capable of operating with minimum down time with Safety to life, Environment and property as the prime concern.

Job Responsibilities

• Daily operations
• Shipboard inspections
• Oil Major/CDI & other commercial inspections
• Incident/Accident/Crisis Management & Investigation
• Port, Flag State Inspection & Other Statutory Audits ( ISM/ISPS)
• HSSEQ
• Stores Supply & Budget Planning
• Crewing
• Dry docking & repairs

Requirements

• Class 1 Certificate of Competency
• Class 2 Certificate of Competency and University Qualification
• Previous experience as Chief Engineer/ Master for a minimum of 8 months on relevant type of ships.
• Must have experience managing DSV / MPSV / Offshore construction vessels
• A proven track record as Superintendent for a minimum of 1 year in a shore based Shipping Company will have an advantage.
• Candidate who are deemed technically competent and without shore experience will be considered.
