Senior UI Designer Responsibilities:

Lightspeed Studios are one of the world’s most innovative and successful game developers. We are expanding across China, the United States, Singapore, Canada, Japan, South Korea, and New Zealand.

Founded in 2008, LightSpeed Studios has created over 50 games across multiple platforms and genres for more than 4 billion registered users. It is the co-developer of worldwide hit PUBG MOBILE.

1. As a Senior UI Designer, understand and build a visual identity and design language on both mobile and PC.
2. Create user interfaces that manage complex information and flow intuitively on both mobile and PC.
3. Initiate and follow through UI implementation, iterating as necessary to pursue the highest quality.
4. Maintain and optimize UI assets as necessary. Work collaboratively with the UX team and a team of artists and engineers to carry design from concept into final implementation.
5. Meet project deadlines and milestones set by project managers.

Senior UI Designer Requirements:

1. 3+ years of experience as a visual artist in the game industry or related area.
2. Able to effectively collaborate with the game designer, UI Programmers, and UI Designers to create the user interface: HUD, windows, menus, icons, and other interactive elements.
3. Excellent graphic design skills (e.g., design, layout, and typography).
4. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
5. The ability to translate player data into design solutions and quickly iterate on them.
6. Strong understanding of usability design principles.
7. Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technology.

PLUS

1. Experience creating animated mockups of UI flows and transition prototypes.
2. Motion Graphics and/or After Effects knowledge.
3. Worked on mobile games or consoles.
4. A passion for video games and user interface design.
