Senior Trader

Key Responsibilities

1. Actively implement and manage trading strategies to optimize returns. Keep a close watch on regulatory updates and requirements, ensuring timely communication of any changes to the trading team and internal stakeholders.
2. Develop and enhance trading strategies based on market conditions and economic factors.
3. Work closely with the research, operations, and risk management teams to ensure efficient trade execution and alignment with company objectives.
4. Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify trading opportunities.
5. Provide feedback and service to internal stakeholders and the trading team.
6. Provide market insights and reports to senior management and other departments.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) is a plus.
2. Minimum of 6 years of trading experience, with a proven track record of success in trading (e.g., commodities, derivatives, equities).
3. Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with market participants.
4. Proficiency in building and refining trading systems and operations.
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
7. Willingness to work in a high-pressure environment and adapt to market conditions.
