Connect Energy is partnering with an Operator who has one of the biggest O&G projects in Singapore to look for this position to join their esteemed organization.
Responsibilities
Perform feasibility studies and trend analysis on process disciplines, providing technical leadership for continuous plant operation.
Monitor the performance, reliability, and efficiency of the assigned plant.
Troubleshoot plant issues related to process and equipment, working closely with the maintenance and operation team for any required improvements.
Advise the Operations Team on parameters to optimize operational performance.
Play an active role in plant shutdown, startup, and commissioning activities.
Provide support for plant turnaround planning and justifying the scope.
Supervise work packages and QA during plant turnaround.
Review and improve critical operating procedures with guidance from technical experts.
Requirements
Degree in Chemical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of process engineering and operation support experience in Industrial Gas Plants and/or Oil & Gas, petrochemical, refinery, pharma, and related plants.
Experience in complex process plants, preferably in technical services and/or operation support, is an advantage.
Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing the operation of process plants and/or good conceptual knowledge gained as part of EPC projects.
Knowledge of industrial standards and applicable codes for process plants.
Strong team player with good problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Modeling skills are an advantage.
Financial and commercial awareness is an advantage.
