Responsibilities
We seek an exceptional Senior Technical Project Lead to join our growing team. In this role, you will drive end-to-end technical project delivery, including building and maintaining Workato connectors. You will also be responsible for:
- Gathering and analyzing requirements, prioritizing tasks, and overseeing connector development using our SDK framework to expand Workato’s connectivity capabilities
- Acting as a Subject Matter Expert for Workato Universal Connectors, developing and maintaining them to meet evolving technical and business needs
- Understanding customer challenges to design and deliver robust integration and automation solutions
- Serving as a Workato Subject Matter Expert, demonstrating how Workato solutions address business automation requirements
- Communicating technical solutions and concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Leading technical discovery sessions and use-case analysis to identify technical requirements and validate solutions
- Providing technical leadership, direction, and guidance to customers and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Potentially leading and conducting training sessions on the Workato Connector SDK to build internal and customer capabilities
Requirements
Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred)
- 10+ years of hands-on experience implementing integrations
- Proficiency in Ruby, Python, or Java
- Excellent understanding of APIs (RESTful and Web Services)
- Strong knowledge of data structures (JSON, XML, YAML, etc.)
- Experience with integration, BPM, or RPA platforms (e.g., Workato, TIBCO, UIPath, Automation Anywhere, Dell Boomi, Mulesoft, WebMethods) is a plus
- Previous experience in customer-facing roles is a plus
