Senior/System Engineer (VMware / Firewall / Azure) | $ 7000| Singaporean Only!

Description:

1. Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.

2. Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.

3. Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.

4. Maintain security, backup, redundancy, and BCP strategies.

5. Manage the VMware environment and provide enterprise-wide support to a high level of Microsoft Azure & Red Hat Linux.

6. Support the HPE and Hitachi environments.

7. Provide support in a 24/7 environment and be required to work on-call at least one week every month.

Requirements:

1. Diploma / bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

2. Minimum 3-5 years of knowledge in the following technologies: VMware vCenter: ESXi, SRM, VRM.

3. Windows Server OS with a good understanding of Windows AD, DNS, GPO, and Failover Clustering.

4. IT System Management experience across various aspects.

5. Security operations and technologies such as Privileged Access Management, Endpoint Protection Platform, Firewall.

6. System Monitoring and Backup and Recovery.

7. SAN storage with a good understanding of remote site replication (Knowledge of administrating Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform would be an added advantage).
