Job Description: As the Senior System Development & Integration Engineer, you have a very visible and critical role in the company. You will be working very closely with our partner on our electro-mechanical system development and integration. Initially you will be expected to spend most of your time at our partner site to conduct the system design, development, and verification. Once it is complete you will transfer the final electro-mechanical system to our own lab for further integration and testing. Later you will be working with our technology team and our partner to make continued improvements on the system capability, reliability, and manufacturability.
Responsibilities:
Participate in our electro-mechanical system architecture development, and document our system requirements on capabilities, performance, reliability, cost, and manufacturability.
Work very closely with our partners on the detailed system design, development, integration, and verification to meet our requirements on capabilities, performance, cost, reliability, and manufacturability.
Develop system test and verification plan, conduct system verification testing.
Track system related issues and lead resolution of issues with a well-documented and methodical approach.
Requirements:
Bachelor or master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
Strong data analysis and presentation skills.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work with multiple internal teams and external partners.
