Your Next Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead the end-to-end supply chain operations for BB Company. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives, managing key partnerships, optimising inventory, and ensuring the overall efficiency and resilience of our supply chain.
What You’ll Do
- Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with the overall business goals.
Collaborate with key Product, Marketing and Operations stakeholders to align the supply chain strategy
- Partner Management:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with Fulfillment Centers, Contract Manufacturers and Raw Ingredient Suppliers
Evaluate and select partners based on performance, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Inventory Management:
Optimize inventory levels to balance the need for product availability with cost control.
Implement inventory control measures to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.
- Risk Management:
Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
Monitor geopolitical, economic, and industry trends that could impact the supply chain.
- Performance Measurement:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the supply chain and regularly assess and report on performance.
Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and efficiency in the supply chain processes.
- Logistics Optimization:
Streamline transportation and distribution processes to minimize lead times and reduce overall logistics costs.
Explore innovative solutions to optimize transportation and storage.
- Quality Control:
Implement and oversee quality control measures throughout the supply chain to ensure that products meet or exceed quality standards.
Work closely with suppliers to address quality issues and improve overall product quality.
- International Logistics and Shipping:
Build the logistics for international operations, considering the delivery lead time and costs for customers worldwide
Coordinate shipping and transportation arrangements, including customs compliance and import/export regulations. Seek opportunities to optimize international logistics and reduce costs and improve customer satisfaction.
- Continuous Improvement:
Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and assess the effectiveness of supply chain processes.
Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and service enhancement. Implement lean methodologies, conduct regular performance reviews, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaboration and Communication:
Foster collaboration and open communication between different departments, including, marketing, product, customer service, business development, finance.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to address challenges and optimize processes.
Your Experience
- Proven experience in a senior-level supply chain management role, preferably in the consumer goods or health and wellness industry.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain best practices, logistics, and international trade regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive strategic initiatives and lead cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree might be a plus.
