Senior Structural Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

1. Review design package and prepare/approve shop drawing of RC structural works and temporary works (strut, waler, etc.)
2. Coordination of structural design works with design-relevant counter parties (i.e. Civil consultant, accredit checker, and Arch/SWC consultant) and construction team, as well as authorities if necessary
3. Design of temporary works (e.g. scaffolding, false work, form work etc.) related to structural design
4. Lead/Assist project department in solving design related matters
5. Manage and resolve production, quality, design & engineering and schedule issues.
6. Liaise closely with internal and external parties as well as the authorities to resolve structure design discrepancies and construction issues
7. Coordination with authorities for updates and submission of project design
8. Other duties as required

Job Requirements:

1. Minimum 15-year engineering experience in civil & structural works is preferred
2. Experience in infrastructure projects is mandatory (LTA Project is preferred)
3. Site experience in Underground roadway project is preferred.
4. Design management with Consultant on structural engineering (experience in Consultant is recommended).
5. Proficient knowledge of structural design, analysis software such as STADD and AutoCAD (or Microstation).
6. Good knowledge of authorities’ requirements.
