Senior Staff Specialist Operations, Planning and Controlling

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for driving business growth through data-driven decision making? Do you have a knack for collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize capacity planning and potential investment? We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Demand, Capacity Planning and Investment Optimization expert in the Operation, Planning and Controlling team. In this critical role, you'll work closely with Business Division Demand Planners, Capacity/Resource Planners, and the OPC Strategic team to drive investment optimization, secure capacity, and ensure demand commitment. You'll be responsible for monitoring and supporting quarterly volume rolling forecast planning, and collaborating with the OPC capex team to drive top-down capex directions.

Job Description

In your new role you will:

1. Engage Business Division Demand Planners and Capacity/Resource Planners regarding forecasting, demand commitment, securing capacity, and potential investment.
2. Drive investment optimization for Backend within assigned package portfolio.
3. Align with Operation Planning and Controlling Strategic team and drive Business Division on demand split to Sites and subcontractors.
4. Monitor Business Division Demand Planners and Capacity/Resource Planners commitment across volume rolling forecasts.
5. Support quarterly volume rolling forecast planning.
6. Support OPC capex team to drive top-down Capex directions.

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

1. At least 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry with adequate exposure in process and/or business planning as well as other areas like operations.
2. Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate technical course, e.g., Industrial, Chemical Engineering, Math, Material Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering.
3. Cross-functional role, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
4. Effective writing and communication skills and able to interact with all levels.
5. Good interpersonal skills in dealing with different international companies.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Software such as Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
7. Systemic approach and 8D management.
8. Knowledge of assembly and Test operations, Logistics and Materials Planning.
9. Proactive, analytical, excellent planning and delivery skills.
