Senior Staff Nurse - Infection Control (Office hours)

Description :

1. Conduct regular audits and surveillance of infection control practices in wards and clinical areas.

2. Monitor and analyze healthcare-associated infection (HAI) data and report trends.

3. Investigate outbreaks and recommend containment measures.

4. Develop, review, and implement infection control policies and SOPs in line with MOH and WHO guidelines.

5. Ensure staff adherence to PPE protocols, hand hygiene, and aseptic techniques.

6. Support compliance with licensing and accreditation requirements.

7. Conduct infection control orientation for new hires and ongoing training sessions for clinical and support staff.

8. Promote infection control awareness campaigns within the institution.

9. Mentor junior nurses and support professional development in infection control practices.

10. Work closely with the Infection Control Committee, Quality Assurance, and other departments to align efforts.

11. Provide guidance during infectious disease outbreaks or public health emergencies.

12. Advise on facility design and workflow for infection risk mitigation.

Requirements:

1. Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board.

2. Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in infection control or related roles.

3. Familiarity with MOH guidelines and infection control frameworks in Singapore.
