Senior Staff Nurse (Day Care)

As a Senior Staff Nurse (Day Care), you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Providing cost-effective care in accordance with policies and procedures.

• Complying with approved standards of nursing practices.

• Assessing the needs and delivering quality geriatric and dementia nursing care to clients.

• Performing pre-assessment of new clients.

• Administering documents to be submitted to government body.

• Coordinating with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate clients' conditions.

• Monitoring and assessing clients' progression and implementing care plan.

• Providing health promotion and counseling to clients and families.

• Performing nursing care such as medication administration and wound dressing.

• Overseeing and managing the performances of the nursing team or care staff.

• Coordinating, implementing and monitoring clinical and service quality performance indicators for continuous improvement plans.

• Performing CPR, AED and first aid to clients and playing an active role in emergency situations.

• Assisting and supporting delivery of health promotion activities in the Centre.

• Participating in infection control campaign activities.

• Assuming additional responsibilities as assigned by Senior Nurse Manager.

• Participating in training and development of care staff.

• Other duties assigned by Senior Nurse Manager or Center In-Charge.

Requirements:

• At least a Diploma in Nursing

• Registered with Singapore Nursing Board

• Candidate who possesses Advanced Diploma is an advantage

• At least 2-3 years of working experience in inpatient ward
