Senior/Staff Nurse (Breastfeeding Programme, 2 years contract)

You will be part of a multidisciplinary funded programme that aims to enhance the support for the breastfeeding mothers and their babies. You will provide holistic and quality lactation support and counselling to breastfeeding mothers and their babies. You will collaborate closely with the lactation team, ward nurses and other healthcare providers in the delivery of care.

Responsibilities:

• Provides guidance and support with anticipatory care and advice on breastfeeding to mothers.
• Perform screenings and assessments as well as coordinate the referrals for follow-up required.
• Perform follow-up at targeted intervals and track the feeding outcome and challenges encountered by the mothers.
• Perform proper documentation, data collection, related administrative tasks and any other duties as assigned by Director.

Requirements:

• Nursing registration with Singapore Nursing Board
• Degree/Diploma in Nursing
• At least 2 years’ working experience as a Staff Nurse
• An independent team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in breastfeeding counselling or obstetrics care preferred.
