Senior Speech Therapist

Responsibilities:

1. Mentor and supervise therapists and support staff for professional development and day-to-day operations.
2. Plan manpower allocation for the therapy team.
3. Identify safety risks and issues, recommend preventive and corrective care measures.
4. Oversee inventory management and equipment maintenance required for therapy services.
5. Participate in the development and promotion of new clinical services in therapy.
6. Manage client feedback.
7. Oversee the maintenance of client records and documentation.
8. Assist in leading research and/or quality improvement initiatives.
9. Conduct service and clinical audits, and review audit findings at the team level.
10. Participate or lead in organization projects, including external partner collaborations/research projects as required.
11. Conduct in-house training for staff, caregivers, and volunteers.
12. Engage in continuing education to further skills and knowledge in the field of practice.

Requirements:

1. Minimum Degree in Speech Therapy and registered with AHPC.
2. Minimum 5 years experience as a Speech Therapist.
3. Dynamic and proactive personality with good public relations and communication skills.
4. Possess good management, excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills.
