ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

As Senior Specialist/Engineer Service Operations, you will be one of the Technical Leaders within the Common Use Team, ensuring all our customers’ (Airports, Airlines, and their customers) day-to-day operations run smoothly. You are responsible for keeping them happy and satisfied with our services, putting the customer as the priority and leading the team to create a positive experience and perception towards SITA as a service provider.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  1. Lead and ensure the Service Operations team adheres to the highest working standards for all incidents and problems by providing guidance, support, and direct management.
  2. Provide Service Operations support to internal and external customers in accordance with the terms of the customer contract and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  3. Ensure the correct functioning and maintenance of all internal and external systems and products serviced by Service Operations.
  4. Act as the customer SPOC when required and coordinate the scheduling of interventions with customers, internal resolver groups, and the Service Desk.
  5. Carry out incident and problem management support to the highest standards and coordinate the resolution with the appropriate resolver groups.
  6. Proactively detect problems related to service and infrastructure operations and delivery services, conduct diagnostics, and provide service request ownership to ensure resolution of customer problems.
  7. Perform Change Management, Configurations, Design, and Implementation of the supported Product & Systems.
  8. Continuously identify and document lessons learned, known errors, and operational knowledge for improved services.

EXPERIENCE:

  1. Diploma/bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.
  2. Microsoft Certified Solution Associate: Windows Server (minimum 2008) & Microsoft Certified System Engineer: Windows Server 2003.
  3. Excellent knowledge in MS Windows Server Architecture (Active Directory Services, Clustering Services, DFS Management, PowerShell scripting).
  4. Knowledge of the latest cloud technologies, preferably hands-on experience on Azure or AWS.
  5. Excellent working knowledge in MS SQL Server Database.
  6. Ability to troubleshoot LAN topologies based on TCP/IP, Firewall, and AirportConnect Network setup.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
